Streamer Guide
Everything you need to set up and run Sentinel for your stream and community.
Getting Started
Sentinel is an all-in-one platform that connects your Discord server with your Twitch channel. It handles moderation, engagement, song requests, overlays, and more — fully bilingual in Arabic and English.
To begin, you need:
Discord Setup
After joining, run /setup in your Discord server to initialize default settings, welcome messages, and auto-roles.
Twitch Setup
The Twitch bot will join your chat automatically and start listening for commands and tracking viewer activity.
Dashboard Walkthrough
The dashboard is your control center. Key areas:
Use the language toggle in the top-right to switch between English and Arabic instantly.
Stream Management
Live Notifications:
When you go live, Sentinel can post an announcement to a Discord channel with your stream title and game. Configure the message template and target channel in Dashboard > Streaming.
Counters:
Track deaths, wins, or any stat with /counter-add. Display them on stream using the overlay URL. Reset counters automatically when a new stream starts.
Overlays:
Sentinel provides browser-source overlays for OBS:
Add them as Browser Sources in OBS with the URLs from Dashboard > Overlays.
Avatar Overlays & VTS
Avatar Overlays let you show reactive avatars in OBS based on who is in your Discord voice channel. The overlay updates in real time as users join, leave, mute, or speak.
Setting up Avatar Overlays:
VTube Studio (VTS) Integration:
Sentinel can trigger VTS hotkeys and model changes based on chat commands, channel points, or timer events. Connect VTS in Dashboard > VTS Connection, then build rules in VTS Builder that map Sentinel events (e.g., new follower, subscriber, raid) to VTS actions (e.g., change model, trigger animation).
Song Requests
Enable Song Requests in Dashboard > Streaming. Viewers use !sr <song name> in Twitch chat. Songs are pulled from YouTube.
Moderator Controls:
OBS Overlay:
Copy the overlay URL from Dashboard > Player and add it as a Browser Source in OBS. Size it to 400x600 for a clean vertical queue display.

Built-in Commands:
!points, !rank, !sr, !queue, !skip, !duel, !giveaway, !poll, !ticket, and more. Use /commands-reference in the dashboard for the full list.
AutoMod
